DDRS1We are a Welsh government approved provider of the Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme for the South East Wales area. We run courses on a regular basis in Cardiff, Bridgend, Newport, Pontypridd, Ebbw Vale, and Cwmbran.  If you have been convicted of a drink driving offence and are referred by a court to D.A.S.H. by successfully completing a course you are eligible to a reduction on your ban by up to 25% e.g. a two year ban reduced to 15 months. We run Courses seven days a week, evenings weekends and daytime.

YPS-1D.A.S.H. is a registered charity providing a range of support services for young people, principally centred around substance misuse. We offer youth empowering services to those affected by another persons substance misuse, family and careers advice, sexual health information and advice. We have counselling services, out of hours support, training and information sessions, alcohol and driving awareness courses for new drivers and a dedicated young peoples day.

LEAD-1We provide advice, information, support and training, to young people and families affected by substance misuse, helping them to face important milestones or events in their lives or at a point of crisis. Our services are free and confidential.


Drugs, Alcohol, Support and Help DASH

DASH-1We provide up to date substance misuse training/information for young people and their families/carers. For example each month we run a training/information session on a specific drug, giving up to date information including effects, tolerance, dependency and withdrawl. Our services are free and confidential. We have out of hours and outreach workers available to intervene in difficult, family situations and at times of crisis. Alternatively Counsellors are based in-house, at our premises in Bridgend, providing walk-in support, often dealing with problems there and then. Other services include a needle exchange programme and drop-in sessions in a range of locations in and around the Bridgend area.

Open from 9.30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday.
